Actor turned director Aamir Khan on Friday released the Dvds of his directorial debut film Taare Zameen Par at Green Lawns High School in Mumbai. The venue, interestingly is the school of Darsheel Safary who played the protagonist in the movie. Though , Aamir himself was present at the launch but the DVD of the movie was release d at the hand of Ms Bajaj, the principle of Green Lawn School.

Walt Disney has also decided to release the DVD of Taare Zameen Par in Australia, New Zealand and Canada soon. The release of the DVDs in these countries will take at least three months. “I am very happy to know that TZP will be promoted in overseas countries also,” said Aamir when asked how he feels on the decision of Walt Disney to release th DVD of his film in overseas.

The actor also said that there are very few movies in an actor’s career that remains unforgeable in the audience’s mind. “I am glad that TZP is so close to the audience’s heart. I received number of letters of praise from children and their parents since the movie released. They mentioned in the letter how much they care for their kids,” told Aamir.
